“Guess who’s back?”

Tommy Oliver began his time with the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers as the villainous Green Ranger, operating under the influence of Rita Repulsa to destabilize the Rangers from the inside.

However, once freed from Rita’s evil spell, Tommy showed remorse and a desire to atone for the damage he’d done, so he was invited to join the team. The Green Ranger was now a valuable member of the Rangers, but Tommy’s good fortune would not last. Rita had bestowed the Green Ranger mantle upon Tommy, and so too would she take it away, slowly draining his powers until they were no more!

With his powers gone, Tommy secluded himself at a lakeside cabin to re-focus and gain perspective on his situation.

While Tommy was away Zordon, aided by Alpha 5, began work on a new Ranger, one created from the White Light of Good. This new Ranger would be impervious to corruption by the forces of darkness, making Tommy the ideal candidate to wield its power.

Zordon teleported Tommy back to the command center and bestowed upon him the power of the White Ranger. Armed with his talking saber Saba, and the massive White Tigerzord, the White Ranger was dubbed the new leader of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers!

PCS Collectibles is proud to present the first in a line of 1:1 scale busts depicting the classic Power Rangers in all their Mighty Morphin’ glory!

“Having worked on the original series, Power Rangers is a property I’ve wanted to return to for a long time” says PCS President Jerry Macaluso “Now that we have this chance, we’re excited to produce the most show accurate Rangers possible, using original props form the show to ensure a level of authenticity that will make these collectibles the cornerstone of any Ranger fans collection”

We’re still going to need a bigger toy box

Posted on: November 15, 2015

While Funko released these figures some while ago, I can’t help but mention it here. The Reaction line fits itself well to the Jaws characters of Quint, Brody & Hooper (played by Robert Shaw, Roy Scheider & Richard Dreyfuss respectively).  They even have “Bruce” the shark, named after Spielberg’s lawyer.  The only thing that would make these toys cooler is if they had a version of Quint’s ship, the Orca.

Walmart Star Wars Cars

While these aren’t the movie related cars blogged a bit ago, they do remind me a bit of the “Disney Racers” sold in Disney World.  I don’t know if they’re exclusive to Walmart or not, but I really do like the card of Luke.

Attention Predator fans! One of the figures scheduled for Series 12 has caught a terrible cold, and so his understudy will be stepping in.

Bad Blood will be replaced by Viper, an all-new Predator created by NECA, making this series even more fantastic!

Two important things to note:

  • 1. EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT SERIES 12 IS THE SAME.
  • 2. Yes, Bad Blood will still be released. He will be offered as a deluxe stand-alone figure in the near future.

Pred-S12-group-copy-w-viper1

The 12th series in our most successful and longest running figure collection introduces our first ever Predator from Dark Horse’s Bad Blood comic book series, along with a new and improved Elder Predator from Predator 2 and an all-original NECA creation: Viper Predator!

Enforcer Predator makes his action figure debut and is based on the series by Bram Stoker Award winner Jonathan Maberry and Eisner Award winner Tyler Crook. First seen way back in Series 3, Elder V2 features additional articulation, a shoulder cannon, new straps and belts, and new feet, all upgraded and improved from the original version. Viper Predator, pilot of the Blade Fighter vehicle, is an original design featuring deadly wrist blade gauntlets on both forearms, a removable mask, and 2 pairs of hands.

Figures stand approximately 8″ tall, feature over 25 points of articulation and come with character-specific accessories.
