As I wrote in my last article in regards to Disney owning the Marvel Comic heroes but not being able to have them in the Walt Disney World Parks, I mentioned Thor would be coming to Disneyland, and now we finally have a date!
Shawn Slater of Disney Parks Blog reported today that starting November 1 you can meet Thor!
It seems Astrophysicist Jane Foster has been very busy studying the Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge that connects Asgard to all 9 realms, including Midgard, or as we know the name, Earth. Through her research she has discovered that the Bifrost will be opening again, this time directly in the Disneyland Park in Innoventions.
To celebrate Thor’s return, Foster and Disneyland will be setting a display of relics brought to Earth from Asgard called Thor: Treasures of Asgard. Once done viewing the display, you enter the Bifrost itself where you will be transported across the Rainbow Bridge to Asgard itself and meeet the Mighty god of Thunder: Thor!
