Super 7’s last 7″ offering from Club Grayskull will begin with the Prince of Eternia himself, Prince Adam.
All Club Grayskull figures come in a window box with an outer cover of Castle Grayskull and the He-man and the Masters of the Universe outer covering.
Once the outer covering is removed we see the figure through the window and behind is the character in animated form with a new bio.
The box itself is a work of art with Castle Grayskull surrounding the figure. I love the way the sides have windows and behind the figure is more artwork of one of the castle’s candles.
The sculpt by the Four Horseman makes Adam look as if he stepped right out of the television and into our room. The paint is flawless, clean and bright.
The only critique I have on this figure is, I would have given him a scabbard on his back for the power sword.
The articulation is on the head which is on a ball joint for full rotation. You also have full articulation on the shoulders, elbows, hands, waist, thighs, knees and rocker joints on the feet. Posing this figure will not be a problem and will look excellent on your shelf.
Adam comes with two different heads: a ‘smiling’ head and a ‘serious’ head.
Both heads are sculpted nicely and are easily swappable on the ball joint attached to the body.
Prince Adam comes with a straight right wrist and a swappable wrist that can hold the power sword above his head.
Other accessories include: A longer power sword with a glow-in-the-dark thunder crackle and shield.
The longer power sword is a welcomed change from the usual Filmation Power sword. This longer sword seems to fit Adam and He-man better.
There is a rubbery overall feel to the figure, something that I have not felt on a Grayskull figure before, nothing bad just different.
This is an excellent figure and I am glad we were able to get him before the line went to “hibernation.”
Prince Adam is sold out from Super 7 as the figures were made to order and can only be found on the secondary market but if you are a fan of the Filmation series, this is the figure to have.
